SPRING RETREAT IS BACK!
We’re going on a youth retreat from May 10-12. Our Spring Retreat is a two night trip to Camp Charis for both our High School and Middle School groups together. Retreats are such a powerful way to grow in community with each other, have a ton of fun and take some time away from the chaos of every day life to relax a bit. Some of our favourite YOUTH memories were made on our weekend retreats.
Camp Charis is really well set up to give us an awesome week. We’ll be staying in cabins and all of our meals will be taken care of for us in the Dining Hall. On top of that, they’ve got a sweet property we can use - a beautiful forest to explore, a gym, a games room, a climbing wall and more! We’ll have plenty of time for classic youth retreat games too like silent football and night games. We have a trusted and experienced team of adult volunteers leading the way throughout the weekend, and qualified activity leaders from Charis overseeing the activities.
Each retreat we spend some time worshipping, reflecting, and praying. We think it’s valuable to have time throughout the day in such a peaceful place to thank God for the ways He’s working and bring our struggles to Him. Retreats are a highlight of the year for students and leaders alike, and we can’t wait for this one!
The price for the weekend is $165, which includes your lodging, meals, and access to all of the activities. We strongly believe that no one needs to miss out because of money, and our church has made some camp sponsorships available to cover part or all of the cost as needed. In order to sign up, there are three steps. First, submit the form below. Second, download and sign this permission form. Third, bring your signed permission form and payment to the church by April 28. Payment can be made by cash, card, cheque, or e-transfer to office@broadwaychurchlife.com , and you can reach out for subsidy or sponsorship. After you’ve done that, we’ll send a packing list and final details to your email.
